Enhanced Access and Extended Access appointments

For evenings and weekends.

We now offer Enhanced Access appointments with a clinician (subject to availability). These appointments are available outside our usual Practice opening hours and are available on weekends.

The appointments are a mixture of face to face appointments and telephone consultations.

These appointments are pre-bookable by contacting the surgery during our opening times – when calling please ask for an Enhanced Access appointment and our receptionists will be able to help you.

Extended Access

In addition to the practice’s normal opening hours, and additional surgery opening times as stated above, you can also book an appointment to see a local clinician at locations across South Worcestershire. GP practices are working together to provide enhanced access appointments to our patients.

Working in partnership with GPs across South Worcestershire, we now offer Improved Access telephone appointments at evenings and weekends. These appointments are offered by practices across the county, so you may speak to a GP, nurse or other clinician from a different practice—but we hope this service will allow you to access primary care outside of our regular opening hours.

You can pre-book your appointment by calling our regular appointment line during our opening hours. Alternatively, you can call 01905 969864 to book an appointment weekdays 18:30 – 20:00 and Saturdays 09:00 – 17:00.

Accessibility.

All medical facilities are fully accessible for disabled patients. Disabled parking is available if needed and an induction loop is available for those who are hearing impaired.

Car Park

Please be aware there are parking restrictions on the car park. This is due to the growing number of vehicle owners leaving their cars here when they are not using any of the on-site services.

There are three keypads in the surgery and one in the pharmacy.

You must enter your vehicle registration when you arrive, failure to do so will result in fines being issued.

Notices are displayed throughout the site, both inside and outside and there are CCTV cameras in the car park.

Any fines issued are not the responsibility of the practice, and should you receive one, there will be instructions on who to contact if you wish to dispute it.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Complaints

We aim to provide a high quality service and are very interested in hearing any constructive comments you may have.

The practice has an approved complaints procedure and we always welcome the opportunity to deal with any part of our service that is causing you concern.

When we are closed.

GP Out of Hours.

If you need urgent attention or advice please telephone 01905 22888 and an answer phone message will give you the number of the GP Out of Hours Emergency Service.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

999

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and/or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

NHS 111.

111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It’s fast, easy and free. Call 111 when you need medical help fast but it’s not a 999 emergency.

You will speak to a highly trained adviser, supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.
